Bom dia Embers!

Antes, gostaria de avisar que até o próximo final de semana nós estaremos com todas as informações sobre o lançamento do nosso primeiro álbum, Evil´s Lair, tudo estará disponível aqui no blog da Eternal Ember, não percam!

Agora vocês podem conferir a quinta canção do álbum, e ela se chama Blindfold!

Blindfold: A quinta música do álbum Evil’s Lair. Letras e idéia principal do Gustavo M. Gutz. É uma música muito intensa, com uma temática bastante direta. A algum tempo atrás, Gustavo viveu algumas experiências ruins, e assim teve a idéia para escrever as letras. Quando ele superou a situação ruim, ele estava muito inspirado para compor essa música. Blindfold tem uma ótima linha instrumental, algumas variações na metade da canção, e um vocal agressivo atribuído a ela. Uma característica particular nesta música são os solos, sendo que eles foram feitos totalmente ao vivo. Apenas alguns takes no estúdio e estavam prontos! Eu lembro quando Gustavo nos falou: “Eu gostaria de mudar alguma coisa nos solos, apenas detalhes”, mas quando os escutamos, eles estavam totalmente diferentes. Nós ficamos impressionados, mas nós gostamos! Blindfold fala sobre a nossa personalidade, quando as vezes pensamos que está tudo certo e tudo bem conosco, mas nós estamos vivendo outra realidade. Nós prendemos o mal dentro de nós mesmos, e estamos tão cegos para ver a real situação... Más influências, ou maus momentos nos trazem esse tipo de mal e mesmo com boas coisas acontecendo para nós, talvez elas sejam apenas alguma ilusão, e assim nós precisamos abrir os nossos olhos para enxergar ao redor...

Blindfold: The fifth song of Evil´s Lair album. Lyrics and main idea from Gustavo M. Gutz. It´s a very intensive song with a very direct thematic. Some time ago, Gustavo lived some bad experiences and took the inspiration to write the lyrics. When he overcame that situation he was very inspired to do this song. Blindfold have a great instrumental´s line, some variations at the middle of the song and an aggressive vocals on it. A particular characteristic in this song are the solos, they were made totally live, just some takes in the studio and well done! I remember when Gustavo told us: “I want to change something in the solos, just details” but when we heard it, it was totally modified. We were impressed, and we liked it! Blindfold tell about our personality, when sometimes we think that we are right and everything is good for us, but we are living another reality. We hold the evil inside of ourselves and we are so blind to see the real situation... Bad influences, or bad moments brings us this kind of evil, even good things happen with us, maybe they are just some illusion and we need to open our own eyes to look all around...
